Porcelain Veneers: A New Look for Your Smile

Porcelain veneers (also called porcelain laminates) are a thin facing cemented onto the surface of your teeth. It's the easiest way to change the size, shape and color of your teeth. Although they are quite thin (.3 to .5 mm in thickness), porcelain veneers are very durable and have a completely natural appearance.

Porcelain veneers can address a variety of cosmetic dentistry problems:

  • Filling gaps between teeth
  • Hiding chipped teeth
  • Visually correcting the alignment of crooked teeth
  • Evening out irregularly shaped teeth
  • Hiding discolorations on tooth surfaces

Porcelain veneers preserve your teeth while giving you the "perfect" smile you've longed for. When you're ready for a change, call 401-294-3533 to schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Thomas Vutech.

Applying Porcelain Veneers

At your first visit, Dr. Vutech will assess your smile and review the range of options available to achieve the results you want. If you've chosen porcelain veneers, Dr. Vutech will remove a small amount of your tooth enamel and will fit your teeth with temporary veneers while your final veneers are being created at a lab.

Once the lab completes your veneers, we'll schedule your next visit, when Dr. Vutech will cement your new veneers onto your teeth, giving you the smile you have always wanted!

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is similar to veneers but not as long lasting. It involves the application of a composite bonding material onto the teeth to improve the appearance of chipped or discolored teeth. Dental bonding is more aesthetically pleasing then silver fillings.

We invite you to come in for a complimentary consultation to see how truly modern dentistry can give you the smile of your dreams. Contact our office online or call 401-294-3533 to schedule an appointment.
